Advanced Industrial Design(I)

本課程之教學目標以及對學生設計專業能力養成的期望: 一、對人/產品/空間/日常生活....之敏感度與品質要求 二、對於設計問題的發掘→描述→分析→詮釋→批判 三、設計研究能力:研究基礎 → 產品設計 四、發掘個人特質,培養其設計態度、溝通與傳達能力(口語、書寫、圖像、電腦.....) 五、設計實作與表達能力:思維邏輯、文字描述、美學品質、視覺傳達

The goal of this program is expected to build up students' professional design capabilities which includes: 1. the sensibilities to human, product, space and daily life …etc. 2. to develop, describe, analyze, interpret and criticize "design questions" 3. from design research to product design 4. fo develop and build up personal distinguishing characteristic, correct design attitude and communication abilities 5. design practice, expression and presentation

設計文獻研討

Design Literature Review

本課程旨在培養研究生系統性文獻回顧與研究方法應用的核心能力,透過理論與實務並重的教學設計,為學生建立扎實的學術研究基礎。在文獻探討方面,學生將學習文獻檢索策略,掌握辨識高品質文獻的能力。課程重點在於培養批判性閱讀,教導學生評估研究設計與方法論嚴謹性,並從既有研究中識別研究缺口,為自身研究奠定理論基礎。研究方法論部分將探討量化、質性與混合研究方法的應用。學生將學習根據研究問題選擇適切的研究設計,理解不同研究典範的哲學基礎。課程涵蓋問卷調查、實驗設計、深度訪談、個案研究等多元方法,並介紹資料分析技術。本課程強調文獻探討與研究方法的緊密連結。透過實作演練,學生將完成整合文獻探討與研究設計的研究計畫書,體現兩者相輔相成的關係。

This course aims to cultivate graduate students' core competencies in conducting systematic literature reviews and applying research methodologies. Through a teaching design that balances theory and practice, it establishes a solid foundation for academic research. In the literature review component, students will learn literature retrieval strategies and develop the ability to identify high-quality literature. The course emphasizes critical reading, teaching students to evaluate the rigor of research designs and methodologies while identifying research gaps within existing literature to establish a theoretical foundation for their own studies. The research methodology section explores the application of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method approaches. Students will learn to select appropriate research designs based on specific research questions and understand the philosophical underpinnings of different research paradigms. The course covers diverse methodologies including surveys, experimental designs, in-depth interviews, and case studies, while introducing data analysis techniques. It emphasizes the close connection between literature review and research methodology. Through practical exercises, students will complete a research proposal integrating literature review and research design, demonstrating their complementary relationship.

Advanced Industrial Design(II)

本課程之教學目標包括: 一、提昇設計創作與設計組織規劃的能力;創造新的設計語言( form, life style…etc…)、善用新的設計工具( CAID, Internet, Media…) 以展開新的設計過程。 二、養成產品設計之理論與實作能力 三、提升設計團隊之組織、合作與協調能力( collaborative design) 四、協助設計創新與創業

This program aims to: 1. promote the abilities of design creation and organization planning 2. from theories to practices on product creation 3. promote the abilities of teamwork and collaborative design 4. a better understanding on design innovation and how to start design enterprise

Seminar on Design

本課程將以專家講座論壇的上課方式進行,這學期的演講主題包括行銷與設計、傳產與設計、創業與設計,各領域的專家學者將以上述議題作延展討論,期望帶給設計專業領域學生的思考衝擊。

The experts and scholars will be invited from different domains of marketing, culture, new business and design to discuss the related issues of design for Taiwan.
