盧禎慧現職實踐大學工業產品設計系副教授，是台灣第一位加入大學設計教育的認知心理學家。她是美國普渡大學認知心理學博士，曾任教香港中文大學、靜宜大學，德國科隆大學及英國倫敦大學訪問學者。研究專長包括：認知心理學、人因工程心理學、使用者經驗研究、及服務設計。盧禎慧在「注意力與作業表現」的學術成果，榮獲中華民國國科會「傑出研究獎」及多次研究獎勵。她在「訊息處理與相容性」議題的論文，獲 Memory and Cognition（2012） 期刊列入“Top-cited articles in behavioral cognitive psychology”，為從1950至2004年間共85,000篇行為認知心理學期刊論文中，前500篇最常被引用的論文之一。盧禎慧的人因工程與認知心理學專業，結合台灣產業的設計需求，有豐富的產學合作經驗。產官學合作包括經濟部工業局人因設計顧問、電信公司消費族群研究與官網介面測試、通訊設備製商產品使用性顧問與教育訓練、電視公司偶像劇視覺創意、家電大廠物聯網智慧家庭使用者研究與人因設計、婚紗產業外銷歐美的線上客戶互動服務體驗平台及銷售系統規劃。盧禎慧也參與醫療輔具產品設計。新近研究包括科技部「以科技改善生活：研發整合漸凍症病友智慧溝通系統」、龍騰智聯網創業競賽得獎「Knee Care智能護膝的醫療智聯網」、「糖尿病友運動促進平台」、及「長者吞嚥訓練遊戲設計」。

Dr. Chen-Hui Lu is the first cognitive psychologist joining the design academic in Taiwan. In her Design Psychology Laboratory, domain knowledges of psychological sciences and methodology are integrated into the design curriculum and research. She claims that design can be empowered by leveraging the understanding of human’s behaviors and cognition, motivation, and development. This interdisciplinary paradigm upscales design to human-centered, rather than user-centered or user-friendly.Dr. Lu’s major research on “Attention and Human Performance” was granted with the Distinguished Research Award by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan, ROC. The journal Memory and Cognition (2012) recognized her study on Attention and Mapping Compatibility as the “Top-Cited articles in behavioral cognitive psychology” (i.e., the top 500 of 85,000 journal articles) from 1950 to 2004. Her current research interests focus on design psychology, particularly in UI/UX design, usability, eye-tracking design study, HCI, and service design.Dr. Lu received her Ph.D. from Purdue University in USA. She is Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial Design at Shih-Chien University (SCID). Before her appointment at SCID, she was the faculty of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Providence University.
