Sally Lin 是一名教育者、策展人和設計師，在台北擁有自己的材料實驗室。專任實踐大學副教授、工業產品設計學系系所主任，多次受邀擔任國內外設計大賽評委。她的創作特別關注在工業設計和工藝之間創造新形式和設計價值的物質方式，來自她過去在消費性電子產品和工藝設計上豐富且專業的工作經驗。她是台灣Yii的主要設計師之一（2007-2013），2012年選為 shopping design年度設計師且2011年選為台灣當代百大設計師。2007年以來，Sally Lin的作品多次受邀參加國內外優秀展覽。例如，法國: 羅浮宮、羅浮裝飾藝術博物館、巴黎皇家宮殿、Maison & Object;意大利: 米蘭三年展、米蘭國際家具展、米蘭衛星展;德國包浩斯設計博物館、杜拜設計節、東京設計師週、大阪個展和台北市立美術館等。

Sally Lin, who is an educator, curator and designer with her own materials lab in Taipei. She is also an Associate Professor of Shih Chien University and the Department Chair of Industrial Design, and has been invited to serve as a jury member of many domestic and foreign design competitions. Her creation is particularly concerned with material ways of creating new formats and design values between industrial design and craftsmanship, based on her professional experience in consumer products and crafts design. She was one of Taiwan Yii’s main designers (2007-2013), also was selected as the Year Designer of shopping design in 2012 and Taiwan’s Top 100 Contemporary Designers in 2011. Since 2007, Sally Lin’s artworks have been invited to participate in many excellent exhibitions abroad.
